The Steering Committee has devoted its energies to executing the 2000-2004 action plan, whose results are explained below. In spite of repeatedly asking for filling in the questionnaire, our member directory currently has no more than eighty entries, an insufficient figure given our membership of around 230. Although the goal of achieving a more representative amount of responses will stay in place, the current data will be now placed on the section’s website. As to the cooperation project of Latin American municipal archives headed by our Brazilian colleague Daise Apparecida Oliveira, the process of including new cities has led to signing agreements with cities in Brazil, Portugal and Spain. Those interested in obtaining further information can view the minutes of the Valladolid congress and attend the above mentioned presentation at the Vienna International Congress.
